Our Teachers

In addition to the experienced and committed classroom teachers listed below, Irvington offers many subjects that are considered 'specialty' in today's schools due to budget cuts. These programs are available through the support of an active PTA and caring community members, as well as thousands of volunteer hours per year. Our teachers, staff, and volunteers make Irvington a vibrant and exciting place to learn.

Testimonials

... My son is winding up 9 years at Irvington School and heading to Grant High School. He always received a good education and I felt supported as a parent not only by the staff, but the community of parents that volunteered in our years here. We will miss that as we move on...

former Irvington PTA co-president

... I really love Irvington, the amazing community that supports this school is truly a village. The teachers are fantastic. My daughter went to IED first for a year and a half and still enjoys their after-school care today. She is in 2nd grade this year and has had excellent teachers and has learned so much! My son went to Alameda for 6 years, and I have found that the Irvington community is much more inviting...
