Feel free to post on a variety of topics, however there are a few ground rules:
- While we believe in freedom of speech, please refrain from any posts that contain profanity, insults, religious or political views, or strongly negative content.
- No posts that contain advertisements or spamming.
- No posts that discriminate against anyone based on age, gender, race, religious or political affiliation, sexual orientation, or nationality.
In general, this is a discussion board for Irvington parents, friends, and members of the community to discuss topics regarding the school and its place in the greater world. Please use your best judgement in deciding if your posts are ‘off-topic’ or should be taken offline for further discussion.
Irvington school volunteers make it happen!
PTA coordinates parent involvement at school but you are in charge of what you’d like to do. Not all families look the same and not all volunteer roles are the same and both can change from year to year. If you had 10 hours to share with our school this year, what would you like to do? Together many hands make light work and our community grows. Best of all your child will see you actively involved in his/her future.
