Wynner Bucks are back!
Each Wynner Buck is both a check and a reward/award. They are each redeemable for a small free bag of popcorn that parent volunteers will cook and serve after school in the gym from 3:00pm to 3:30pm on Thursdays—unless notified otherwise. Each student that presents a staff signed Wynner Buck (with the student’s name on it also!) will get a free bag of popcorn.
We can’t do it without parent volunteers! We need people to pop and hand out popcorn on Thursdays. If you’re interested, please contact Greg Wynne through the office.
How Do Students Earn Wynner Bucks?
- Exceptional behavior that follows our school-wide dialogue, such as PAWS
- TALK—WALK—SQUAWK
- Second Step lesson-recommended actions
- Tools For Citizenship actions
- Lifeskills actions
- An outstanding academic or personal achievement
A special note from Greg: EACH TEACHER PARENT/GUARDIAN SETS THEIR OWN STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES. I suggest flexibility in how Wynner Bucks are earned and clearly communicated standards that your student(s) understand and accept. I am not looking for whole class awards–except for Kindergarten (please arrange in advance)–but rather those shinning individual actions that stand out!
Use Wynner Bucks at Home!
Parents or staff can now purchase Wynner Bucks to use at home for rewarding positive behavior and academic achievement—from Mr.Wynne before or after school or from the parent helpers on Thursday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
